About this desk
The Axis Stretch Back-to-Back Desk seats 2, 4, 6 or 8 people in back-to-back pairs on one fixed-height frame, so a team works face to face in a compact footprint. Each person has their own 25 mm melamine worktop at a working height of 715 mm. Stretch legs adjust from 1190 mm to 1600 mm deep, so the gap between facing worktops can be set to suit screens and cabling.
The frame uses 50 × 50 mm square steel legs with a 2 mm wall, joined by 50 × 25 mm rails, with 80 mm of height adjustment in each foot so the desk sits level on uneven floors. It is rated to 160 kg evenly distributed and carries a 10-year warranty; GECA certification is available on request.
Worktops are 25 mm melamine with matching edging in Studio White, New Oak Matt, New Oak Ravine or Nordic Maple, in widths of 1200, 1500, 1600 and 1800 mm and depths of 600, 750 and 800 mm. Selected 750 and 800 mm-deep sizes offer a rear scallop cut-out.
