Buying guide
Choosing commercial storage
Start with whether the storage needs to lock. Axis cupboards, tambours, credenzas, the four-drawer filing cabinet and the Axis mobiles are locking; EkoSystem is non-locking throughout. Locking is not stated for the Tempo range.
Then choose the material. Axis is 18mm flush-joined studio white melamine on an E1 grade substrate with matching PVC edge and powdercoat steel feet. Tempo is powdercoat steel in Black or White. EkoSystem uses 25mm tops and base with 18mm sides and shelves and 5mm backs, in White or New Oak / Charcoal.
Finally match the height to the room. Desk-height credenzas and tambours keep sightlines open, 1250mm units suit a partial screen, and 1800mm bookshelves and cupboards give the most capacity along a wall.
