National Retailer — Multi-Site Rollout Program

The Project

A multi-year commercial furniture program spanning 24+ projects nationwide for one of Australia’s most recognised retail brands — a company operating thousands of stores across the country with tens of thousands of employees.

This wasn’t a single fit-out. Over multiple years, we managed the furniture procurement, logistics, and installation across new-build supermarkets, corporate offices, distribution centres, co-working spaces, locker rollouts, and post-flood remediation — coordinating with multiple builders and maintaining consistency across every site, in every state.

The Challenge

Managing a program of this scale means no two projects are the same, but the expectation of quality and process consistency is constant. Each project had its own builder, its own site conditions, its own timeline — and each one needed to be managed as if it were the only project on the books.

The standout moment came during the fit-out of a major 6-level CBD headquarters in Sydney. One week before the scheduled go-live, the client made significant changes to the furniture scope across all six levels. The original plan was no longer viable. We redesigned the specification, re-coordinated procurement, and delivered a full 6-level fit-out without missing the deadline.

When an ASX-listed retailer trusts you with their head office and gives you one week’s notice to redesign the scope, the margin for error is zero.

Our Approach

Every project in this program — whether it was a 50-person distribution centre or a 6-level headquarters — was managed with the same discipline: detailed procurement tracking, coordinated delivery logistics, documented site inspections, and clean handover.

The consistency of our process is what made the program work. Builders knew what to expect from us. The client’s project teams knew they didn’t need to manage the furniture scope — they just needed to give us access and a date.
